Congratulations to Sandy Goard who has passed the Diploma in Animal Physiotherapy. Sandy is based is Sixpenny Handley, Nr Blandford in Dorset and is now working freelance, providing treatments for horses and dogs throughout the Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire area. She combines this with a teaching career, being a BHS qualified instructor and has been riding and competing for over 35 years. This experience gives her additional perspectives into injury healing, rehabilitation and performance which she can bring to all of her paitients.
Sandy uses massage, mobilisation techniques, therapeutic ultrasound, phototherapy and pulsed electromagnectic induction therapy as necessary in her treatments. Exercises are also prescriped so that owners can continue their rehabilitation following her visit and thus maintain well-being and prevent re-injury.
Sandy strives to give all her clients the best possible service and her animal paitients the highest level of care. Her aim is to allow them to live pain-free and enable them to reach their full potential.
Sandy can be contacted via her website www.wessexanimalphysio.co.uk or by telephone on 01725516205 or 07789778654.
